"Saving Face" chronicles the lives of acid-attack survivors Zakia and Rukhsana as they attempt to bring their assailants to justice and move on with their lives. The film is an intimate look inside Pakistani society and these women's personal stories, while showing how reformers are tackling this horrific problem.

Director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will join after the screening to discuss how she navigated such tough terrain.

This event is co-sponsored by the duPont-Columbia Awards, the Columbia Journalism School's Documentary Project and the Dart Center for Journalism & Trauma.
