The Center for Ethics in Journalism annual media workshop aims to prepare reporters for dealing with trauma in the day-to-day practice of journalism, as well as taking the long walk down the driveway to interview people who have just experienced a taumatic event or loss. 

The workshop will open with a breakfast at 8:00 am and will feature a panel discussion and group exercises. The opening panel includes:

Sgt. Craig Stout, Fayetteville Police Department
Thomas Good, assistant chief/field operations Fayetteville Fire Department
David Handschuh, visiting distinguished professor of ethics
Dr. Valandra, professor of Social Work and African, African American Studies
Professor Ananda Rosa, director of the undergraduate program in the School of Social Work.
