Video and audio is now available of the Dart Center roundtable discussion "Generation Iraq: Journalists Confront America's War," held in New York City on April 4, 2-12. The panel features Ali Adeeb (New York Times), Ashley Gilbertson (VII Photo), Amy Goodman (Democracy Now!), Sarah Stillman (The New Yorker).
From the first debates over invasion to the pullout of American troops, from prisoners in Abu Ghraib to veterans in Walter Reed, the war in Iraq has dominated news for a decade. Join a conversation with four journalists who have been shaped by the war — and whose words and images have defined the war and its ongoing impact for all of us.
The panel, sponsored by the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma and held at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism's World Room on April 4, 2012, features Ali Adeeb (New York Times), Ashley Gilbertson (VII Photo), Amy Goodman (Democracy Now!), Sarah Stillman (The New Yorker). It is moderated by Bruce Shapiro, executive director of the Dart Center.
