The earthquake that struck Haiti in January brought chaos and horrror to a small country illl-equipped to face disaster on such a scale. Are there distinctive lessons to be learnt from how the crisis in Haiti was covered? And what do journalists need to know when operating in any disaster zone?

Meeting from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., this open discussion will be led by David Loyn, the BBC's international development correspondent, and Gavin Rees, director of Dart Centre Europe.
