Workshop: Interviewing Victims of Trauma

At a week-long summer school, lasting from August 21 to 27, the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) will bring together leading international and Balkan journalists and trainers for workshops and roundtable discussions on the issues facing journalists in the region.

Gavin Rees, director of Dart Centre Europe, will run a workshop on "Interviewing Victims of Trauma." The training will look at the special tools and sensitivities investigative journalists need when interviewing the vulnerable and powerless.
