Conference: Freedom of the Press

The conference will include award-winning journalists, editors and publishers, representatives from organizations working to safeguard freedom of the press and the protection of journalists, government officials and scholars.

The two-day conference will examine case studies, review existing charters on the freedom of the press and the protection of journalists, discuss ways and means to improve the existing situation, and will conclude with resolutions which will be presented at other world forums.

The Federation of European Press Clubs and the International Association of Press Clubs are conference co-sponsors.
