2022 Ochberg Fellowship

The Ochberg Fellowship is the Dart Center's flagship program for senior and mid-career journalists who wish to deepen their knowledge of emotional trauma and psychological injury, and improve reporting on violence, conflict and tragedy. This year's fellowship will be held July 22-28 at Columbia University in New York City. Application deadline was February 22. Late applications will not be accepted.

Deadline Passed: 2022 Dart Awards

The Dart Awards for Excellence in Coverage of Trauma honor innovative, ethical and effective reporting of violence, trauma and tragedy across all media platforms. Judges will make two awards, each carrying a cash prize. The submission deadline -- January 26, 2022 at 5:00 pm EST -- has passed.

Dart Centre Asia Pacific Announces Erin Smith as CEO

Dart Centre Asia Pacific (DCAP) is pleased to announce that disaster and emergency response specialist, Dr. Erin Smith, has been appointed CEO. Smith will replace Managing Director Dr. Cait McMahon, OAM, who founded the organization in 2003.
