    Editor Jan Winburn Wins Mimi Award

    Each year, the Dart Society — a cohort of Ochberg Fellows and winners of the Dart and Mimi Awards — honors an editor who advances compassionate and ethical coverage of trauma, conflict and social injustice. This year that honor goes to Jan Winburn for her decades of work at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Baltimore Sun and other publications. More »

    Dart Center Announces 2007 Ochberg Fellows

    Reporting responsibly and credibly on violence and traumatic events — on crime, family violence, natural disasters and accidents, war and genocide — is among the greatest challenges facing contemporary journalism. The Dart Center Ochberg Fellowship, now in its ninth year, was established by the Dart Center in order to better prepare journalists for this challenge.
