Her media criticism about the violence in Mexico has appeared in the Columbia Journalism Review and NACLA. She is the producer and director of the PBS documentary "Against Mexico: The making of heroes and enemies" and she is traveling the U.S.-Mexico border working on a book about the U.S.Mexico border, myth and masculinity.
