Michelle García is a writer, radio reporter and video journalist whose work has appeared in The Washington Post, Salon, The Boston Review, Time and numerous other media outlets. Her media criticism about the violence in Mexico has appeared in the Columbia Journalism Review and NACLA. She is the producer and director of the PBS documentary "Against Mexico: The making of heroes and enemies" and she is traveling the U.S.-Mexico border working on a book about the U.S.Mexico border, myth and masculinity.
