Mexican Photojournalist Found Dead in Capital

Rubén Espinosa, who worked for the investigative magazine Proceso, was found dead after fleeing his home state of Veracruz. Espinosa was the seventh journalist killed in Mexico this year.

Swiss Research Foundation Announces New Science Writers Fellowship in Zurich

The Jacobs Foundation has announced a new five-day journalism fellowship aimed at advancing public understanding of research in the fields of psychology and youth development. Five science and/or health policy reporters from North America and the United Kingdom will be given the opportunity to collaborate with leading Swiss researchers, institutions and writers' associations.

Must-see Multimedia Project Depicts Violence in Central African Republic

At the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, the Dart Center will co-sponsor the New York City premiere of the project, The Unravelling. Afterwards, Human Rights Watch Emergencies director Peter Bouckaert and photojournalist Marcus Bleasdale will lead a master class on human rights reporting and digital storytelling.
