'Reporting Safely in Crisis Zones’ Course

The Dart Center is offering an intensive four-day crisis zone reporting course at Columbia Journalism School to prepare journalists to work safely and effectively in volatile situations such as war, conflict and disaster zones. With generous support from the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation, the Rory Peck Trust, and the ACOS Alliance, 16 freelance journalists will be able to attend the October 24-27 course at no cost. The application deadline -- June 21, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST -- has passed.
