Jim Trotter
Jim Trotter is the 2010 recipient of the Mimi Award, given by the Dart Society, in recognition of his leadership and achievements as an editor at the Rocky Mountain News. He was an assistant managing editor and projects editor there until the paper closed in 2009. He also has written for The Sacramento Bee, the San Jose Mercury News, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Miami Herald and the Austin American-Statesman. He is now West Enterprise editor for the AP’s Western region and is based in Phoenix.
