Applications for the 2011 Dart Awards for Excellence in Coverage are due Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 5PM E.S.T.
The Dart Awards recognize exemplary journalism on the impact of violence, crime, disaster and other traumatic events on individuals, families or communities, focusing on the experience of victims and survivors, and contributing to public understanding of trauma-related issues.
The Dart Awards competition is open to all North American news media outlets. All entries must have been published, aired or broadcast from Jan. 1, 2010 to Dec. 31, 2010.
