Presentation: Covering Mass Murder

Finnish researcher and national Dart contact person Klas Backholm, and journalists Alexander Uggla and Jenny Sanner Rosqvist will be reflecting on the recent attacks in Oslo and the island of Utoeya. 

They will be discussing what makes for ethical crisis reporting, the hazards in using media releases that have been pre-prepared by perpetrators, and what journalists need to know about self-care when working on traumatic, crisis-related assignments.
