Seminars, Training and Consultation

The Dart Center trains and encourages working journalists in providing volunteer education and support to colleagues through professional organizations and newsroom mentoring. 

The Dart Center also provides a range of educational, training and consultation programs worldwide, developed in collaboration with leading trauma experts and news professionals. These include:

  • Seminars focused on specific stories, events and issues;
  • On-site newsroom briefings and consultation on trauma issues for news staff and managers;
  • Development of extensive, customized ongoing training and peer-support programs;
  • Training trainers.
