You Can Help! Women Journalists and Online Harassment
The Dart Center is working with researchers at The University of Tulsa to better understand women journalists’ experience with online harassment in the United States.
The Dart Research Center, which has undertaken pioneering peer-reviewed studies on newsrooms and traumatic stress, has developed a confidential survey to understand the varying degrees of online harassment and how women journalists respond. The survey takes no more than 20 minutes to complete.
The results of this research will promote deeper understanding of the nature of online harassment for women journalists, and aid in the development of policies and trainings to help better protect journalists.
Please click here to fill out the survey, and feel free to share it with other U.S. journalists in your networks.
