Panel: Handling Trauma in Frontline Journalism

Images from the world’s frontlines. With their work, some of the best young conflict photographers of our age provide an impressive display of human tragedy and suffering. These young women and men are putting their own lives at risk in order to document what man does to man. What motivates these exceptional journalists and how do they cope with the traumatic experiences they have in the field?

We will be discussing this with photographers Capucine Granier-Deferre and Patrick Tombola and trauma expert Gavin Rees, director of Dart Center Europe.
