Webinar: Clarissa Ward on Covering Crisis

The duPont-Columbia Awards and the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma presented a conversation with duPont-award-winning journalist Clarissa Ward, CNN’s Chief International Correspondent.

Ward's 2020 duPont win was a team effort for exceptional reporting on the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. Based in London, Ward has reported on the Syrian civil war, the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan, and from dozens of other hotspots around the world.

Ward spoke with duPont Awards Director, Lisa R. Cohen about her new memoir, “On All Fronts” which traces her career as a conflict reporter and foreign correspondent. She also discussed trauma-related reporting and offered guidance for journalists covering the COVID-19 crisis.
