IRE Panel: Coping with a year of trauma

Journalists are often tasked with reporting on some of the world's darkest moments in history, an immense responsibility that can include covering trauma up close. And after a year of reporting on an endless amount of trauma caused by the devastating toll of the COVID-19 pandemic, a highly charged presidential election and the global movement for racial justice, the need for journalists to prioritize their mental wellbeing is necessary.
