Workshop Application: Reporting on Refugees and Migration Through the Eyes of Children

The application deadline is June 7, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST.

Applicants will be notified with a decision by June 21, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST.

To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

  • Have at least three years of professional journalism experience;

  • Be currently working in journalism, either as staff or freelance;

  • Be fluent in spoken English;

  • Have published or broadcast at least three stories on refugee/migration issues.

Please upload a letter of interest in English that addresses 1) how and why this workshop is relevant to you and your work; 2) three issues related to refugee children that interest you most; and 3) two story ideas you would like to explore through the workshop. Please limit your letter to 750 words or no more than two pages.
