Lucy Tompkins

Lucy Tompkins grew up around the American West and graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Montana in 2017. Upon graduation she worked at the Missoulian as an education reporter, during which she worked on the investigative series Troubled Kids, Troubled System. Tompkins now lives in Berlin, Germany, where she recently completed a Young Professional Journalist Fulbright Fellowship. Tompkins was recently granted a year-long reporting fellowship at the New York Times, beginning in June.
